My rating: 5/5 stars

Catharina Maura is an author whom I’ve enjoyed so much this year, reading her “Windsor” series and suffering alongside them. Her style is quite dramatic, and even though the stories were addictive, they resembled each other, having more or less the same plot.

The “Off-limits” series is different – it has 4 books, each with its own personality, plot, and characters, which are quite unique and well written, if you ask me. I gave “Until You” 5 stars because it totally annihilated my reading slump and managed to catch my attention with a very romantic but special book, with twists and turns and all that jazz.

Aria has been living with trauma for years and years, never managing to surpass with. Even though she smiles, underneath it all, it’s a whole story to tell. But mainly, she has it all – a boyfriend who loves her, a job, and a brother who will do anything for her. When the first 2 come apart, Aria is left without any will to continue, until her brother, Noah, persuades her to leave town and work at his best friend Grayson‘s IT company.

Because she lost her family while very young, Aria began using her skills in programming and developed a vigilante platform, helping people who need justice by using a username called Nyx. Alongside her is Ash, another vigilante who wants to use his knowledge for good. They work together perfectly, not knowing that they are very close in real life. Get where I’m going with this?

Greyson has been best friends with Noah and Aria for years, always looking up to them and keeping them close. The trauma that they lived after their parents’ murder was terrible, but Greyson was there for them. He always felt overprotective about Aria, but deep down, he knew those feelings were more intense than friendship, but he kept them subdued. When Aria agrees to come work for him in Silicon Valley, they become even closer and begin to discover things they didn’t know about each other.

Aria will have to face her demons, Greyson will have to make peace with his past, but together they make such a good team, both online and offline. I loved their chemistry, their slow burn, their vulnerabilities, and most of all, I loved this idea with programming and coding and how they first fell in love as Nyx and Ash.

It gave me a sense of purpose to read further to see when they would find out, and I was so invested in this story that I read the book in just 2 days. This is what I was talking about in complex plot and characters – making them vulnerable, with flaws and mistakes, to put them back together and heal them with love. It was the perfect story I needed to read, and I loved every page. It had love, drama, and all the ingredients to become one of the best reads of 2025.
