(RO) In acest articol voi folosi o mica doza de melancolie si va voi prezenta un brand de cosmetice pe care l-am descoperit inca din facultate:) Da, ati auzit bine:) Aproape cu 10 ani in urma mi-am cumparat un rimel si un fard de pleoape E.L.F. Cosmetics, ce au reusit sa ma impresioneze prin calitate si aspect. Cautand pe Google acum cateva saptamani, am vazut ca acest brand persista pe piata din Romania si la o prima vedere, pareau imbunatatite ca design. Asa ca a trebuit sa le testez, sa vad daca aceste cosmetice atat de iubite in facultate ma mai pot impresiona. Am ales 4 produsele de pe site-ul lor si timp de 3 saptamani le-am testat in diferite conditii. Unele au fost exact asa cum mi le-am adus aminte, altele mai putin, dar mai bine va povestesc despre fiecare in parte.

(ENG) In this article I will use a slightly dose of melancholy and present to you a cosmetics brand which I know since university. Yap, you heard correctly. Almost 10 years ago I bought a mascara and an eye shadow from E.L.F. Cosmetics, products that managed to spark my interest due to their quality and design. Searching on Google a few weeks ago, I found their site again and I wasn’t surprised to see that they are still on the Romanian market. At first glance, their collection seemed to improved in design, so I had to test them to see if my university love was still the same, or even better. My testing is made up of 4 products and the testing period is 3 weeks, time in which I tested them in different conditions. Some of them were exactly as I remembered them, some of them were not, but I think it’s better to show you what I mean. 

(RO) Paleta Baked este prima in topul preferintelor mele de la E.L.F. Cosmetics, in primul rand pentru ca arata foarte bine si in al doilea rand pentru ca fardurile sunt extrem de rezistente si pigmentate. Toate sunt sidefate, insa merg de minune singure, fara sa li se mai asocieze alt fard. Paleta aleasa de mine are in mare parte culori nude si maronii, cu exceptia uneia singure, un gri mai deschis. Scoase in relief, ca niste bilute, sunt extrem de aspectuoase si haioase. Tot design-ul este unul de calitate, ce imbraca frumos un produs foarte bun, rezistent.

(ENG) The Baked Pallet is first on my list from E.L.F. Cosmetics, mainly because it looks fabulous and secondly because the eye shadows are extremely persistent and colorful. They all are pigmented and can be used individually, not having to use them in various combinations. My pallet has a lot of nude and brown colors, with the exception of only one, a greyish shade. They are very cute, as tiny colored 3D balls, with an amazing design. The pallet per say has a great design, defining a high-quality product.

(RO) Urmatoarea pe lista este o pudra iluminatoare care iti da un aspect stralucitor in obraji, chiar si cu o singura aplicare. Pudra Shimmer se afla pe locul 2 in materie de preferinte, pentru ca este foarte rezistenta, pigmentata si lasa pe obraz un luciu discret, insa tare frumos. Este compacta, nu se pierde foarte mult pe pensula atunci cand se aplica si rezista aproape toata ziua. Se indeparteaza foarte repede cu apa micelara. O recomand si pentru un machiaj de zi, atunci cand fata nu este incarcata cu alta farduri sau cu un ruj puternic.

(ENG) Next on my list a very good compact powder which gives your face a very subtle glowing look, even in one brush. The Shimmer power is second on my list because it last almost all day, it’s very discrete and pigmented. Being compact, it is not wasted on the brush when being applied. You can easily remove it with make-up remover and I totally recommend it on a light look, when you don’t wear heavy product or a very colorful lipstick.

(RO) Al treilea pe lista este blush-ul duo Baked, cu o consistenta similara cu cea a paletei Baked. Biluta 3D este extrem de haioasa si pigmentata, lasand pe obraz o nuanta delicata de roz. Vorbind de doua nuante intr-un singur produs, rezultatul nu este acelasi de fiecare data, depinde cat de mult le amesteci pe pensula. Uneori poate sa iasa o culoare nude, uneori spre roz, este dupa toanele sale 🙂 Cert este ca mi-a placut, rezista pe obraz si nu este o culoare care iese in evidenta foarte mult, fiind exact ce imi trebuie pentru un machiaz discret.

(ENG) Third on my list is the Baked duo blush, with a consistence similar to the Baked pallet. The tiny 3D ball is very cute and pigmented, leaving you cheek with a subtle pinkish blow. If we consider that the blush is duo, the result won’t be the same every time. Sometimes it can be nude, sometimes pink, depending on its mood and how much you apply on the brush. I liked it, it is persistent and the shade is not very obvious, very good for a discrete make-up at the office, for example.

(RO) Am lasat pe lista acest ultim produs, pentru ca nu a fost exact cum mi-am imaginat, sau cel putin pentru mine nu a avut efectul dorit. Daca aplic fard, nu imi place pentru ca pe parcursul zilei se strange. Asa ca am cautat un primer bun, care sa il fixeze. Am incercat Primer-ul pentru fixare de la E.L.F. dar din pacate nu a avut efectul dorit. Am aplicat un strat subtire si din pacate, am observat ca parca fardul se strange mai mult decat la inceput:) Poate nu am avut eu noroc, insa nu a fost un produs incercat cu brio. Primer-ul vine in doua nuante, cine stie, poate cel pe alb pe care nu l-am incercat este mai bun. Produsul testat de mine este in nuanta roz.

(ENG) I’ve left this product last for a reason, because it was not my cup of tea. When I apply an eye product, through the day it fades, so I looked for a primer to fix this problem. I testes the primer from E.L.F. but this didn’t help either. I applied only a thin layer, but unfortunately the situation got even worst, I think that even the primer fades alongsides the eye shadow☹ Maybe it’s just me, an unlucky tester, who hasn’t found the right product yet. The product comes in 2 shades, maybe the other is more efficient. I tested pink, should try the white version.
