Kyland by Mia Sheridan

My Rating: 5/5 Stars

“Sometimes when you sacrifice something precious, you’re not really losing it. You’re just passing it on to someone else.” Mitch Albom, The Five People You Meet in Heaven

Mia Sheridan does it again, and my heart bleeds only when I’m thinking of this book.
This quote mentioned above is what Kyland is all about: how deep can you love and how much are you willing to sacrifice yourself for the person you care about.

I fell in love with Kyland because yes, I am an incurable romantic that thinks true love can conquer all and can pass every obstacles in life. Ten and Kyland were an amazing couple, that discover love at a tender age but never let it go. The purity of those feeling made me so addictive to this book and connected me to the characters in an unique way. You can feel their love in each paragraph that you read and it is so authentic, it is not forced, not a cliche, it feel real.

Love comes with sacrifices, but also also means sacrificing yourself for the other. I have learned that in this book and it was an emotional life lesson for me. All of Mia’s stories have a message behind them, a true one that can guide you and show you how beautiful life can be.
Kyland is an amazing story, and I totally recommend it. This is for the ones that believe in love, to give them more confidence about it, but also for the ones that don’t, giving an example of how good it feels 🙂
